I love working with clients: getting to know them and their wishes to create beautiful spaces that exude their personality. My role is to help you achieve that. We will share in the process of updating, changing or refreshing a single room – or more. I can assist and advise in getting the mix right – to create a stylish and functional space to feel proud of and at home in.

The project brief is all about you and what you love, to integrate great design and content available in Cape Town that will ensure your project is not only beautiful but simply executed. In order to achieve this, a clear understanding of your taste, budget and lifestyle all need to come together. I strive to create magic moments that  will culminate in the look on your face when the process is complete and the big smile when you walk through the door and see all the special details become a reality.

I have always had an eye for design. This talent is possibly derived from my great grandfather who worked as Master Tailor making military uniforms in Leeds, England and from my grandmother and my mum, both homemakers with incredible passion and talent. I’ve spent four years working for one of South Africa’s top interior designers, Andrea Graff, who mentored me and generously shared her skills.

My personal style…

Classic, simple, timeless interiors with  a mix of a little Cape and Karoo heritage works for me.

Having spent years living in remote areas, I appreciate the special beauty of country living and the much loved African bush. Memories of old farmhouses and verandahs filled with layers of favourite things. Happy South African homes that are liveable, informal and gorgeous.

This look can also be updated and given a crisp modern twist. I love working with exquisite beautiful Belgian linens, crisp natural fabrics and textures that create a mixed gentleness in an area. Wallpapers are very much part of the mix even in a contemporary urban environment they can work perfectly.

The final touches which make an interior unique – sourcing and finding those special pieces that you will love in your new space.
